INTRACOMP is structured around seven dedicated Work Packages (WPs), each playing a crucial role in advancing Intercultural and Transcultural Competence (ITC) through arts education. From theoretical research to digital innovation, policy development, and community engagement, our WPs ensure a holistic and impactful approach to fostering cultural inclusion.

WP1 – Co-Design lays the foundation for INTRACOMP by developing the Intercultural and Transcultural Competence framework, integrating diverse global perspectives and best practices to guide arts education (Lead: JYU | Co-Lead: Nord).

WP2 – Scale focuses on expanding ITC through training programs, mentorship initiatives, and global outreach, ensuring broad accessibility and impact across different educational and cultural settings (Lead: ENCC | Co-Lead: Nord).

WP3 – Enable creates an innovative Digital Playground, incorporating AI, gamification, and interactive tools to enhance ITC learning and foster creative, technology-driven cultural expression (Lead: UoA | Co-Lead: KN).

WP4 – Investigate examines arts-based interventions in six countries, analyzing their role in promoting ITC at both individual and systemic levels through creative and community-driven engagement (Lead: UNIVR | Co-Lead: IPOW).

WP5 – Integrate explores how ITC can be effectively embedded in formal education, from early childhood to tertiary levels, identifying key drivers and challenges to support inclusive learning environments (Lead: UoA | Co-Lead: IPNGS).

WP6 – Advance translates ITC research into policy recommendations, shaping cultural and educational governance at local, national, and global levels to ensure sustainable impact (Lead: UHil | Co-Lead: ENCC).

WP7 – Share drives the communication, dissemination, and outreach strategy, ensuring that INTRACOMP’s findings, tools, and frameworks reach key stakeholders and inspire long-term change (Lead: LATRA).

WP8 – Manage ensures the seamless execution of INTRACOMP, overseeing project coordination, financial management, ethical compliance, and quality assurance to guarantee that all objectives are met efficiently and effectively (Lead: NORD).

Through these collaborative efforts, INTRACOMP is building a sustainable and innovative model for arts education, ensuring that cultural competence becomes a core pillar of lifelong learning.
