Dr. Michael Ahlers is Professor for music education and popular music at Leuphana University in Lüneburg, Germany. Before this he was professor for digital music education in Augsburg, ran a music production company in Hamburg and was editor for a journal on computers in music education. Current research projects focus on musical interfaces, music production, diversity, music business, creativity, songwriting camps, and more.
