Dr Andrew Madjar was a primary school teacher in New Zealand for 12 years before completing his PhD at the University of Auckland in 2022. Andrew currently works as a Research Fellow at the University of Auckland. He is a researcher for the Centre for Global Childhoods and is a member of the Early Years, Childhood Studies and Child Development Research and Teaching Hub. Andrew’s research explores various aspects of childhoods, including children’s voice and democratic participation.
