Layla is a researcher with a background in education policy, language learning, and pedagogy, and recently completed a PhD in Critical Studies in Education at the University of Auckland. Her work explores how teachers’ beliefs and biases affect students’ experiences, with a focus on promoting culturally inclusive education in diverse communities. Layla uses a range of research methods and enjoys working across disciplines. She is committed to addressing educational inequalities and hopes to explore innovative approaches to ensuring equitable access.
