Farah Wardani

Farah Wardani is a Lebanese theatre actress, trainer, clown doctor, puppeteer, drama therapist and applied theatre practitioner. A theatre graduate with a MA in Performing Arts (focus Drama Therapy), a Diploma of High studies in theater and BA in psychology. She is a certified drama therapist with the North American Drama Therapy Association. She is a Playback Theatre practitioner, trainer, actress and conductor.
Farah is the director of Laban, a Lebanese theatre-based NGO that uses social and psychosocial theatre approaches for social and political change, capacity building and therapy. Farah trains and uses Theater of the Oppressed, Drama Therapy and other techniques with different communities and contexts as a medium for healing, social change, and political activism. Farah is a mother of two, Nady and Zaha. She is a firm believer in the power of arts and culture, in fostering justice and peace across her local community and the world.
