Ivan Pravdić

Ivan Pravdić, born on April 14, 1975, in Belgrade, is an Associate Professor of Dramaturgy at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. He holds a degree in Dramaturgy, a Master of Fine Arts in Polymedia Arts, and a Doctorate in Polymedia Arts. His artistic and academic work spans performances, actions, dramas, poetry, audience participation projects, workshops, videos, ambient installations, and theoretical texts, with presentations at festivals and symposiums in Canada, Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, and throughout the former Yugoslavia. He teaches courses such as Dramaturgy, Radio Dramaturgy, Theory and Models of Polymedia Arts, Creation of Polymedia Artwork, and Time Design. He serves as Head of the Section of Dramaturgy, is a member of the Arts, Education, and Science Council at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, and sits on the Council for Humanities and Arts at the University of Novi Sad. Additionally, he leads the Polymedia Study Group and is a member of the Interdisciplinary Council of the University of Arts in Belgrade. He is also a corresponding member of the Serbian Royal Association of Academicians, Innovators, and Scientists.
