Patrik Krebs is a theatre director, drama therapist, and social activist specializing in applied theatre with marginalized communities. As the principal of Divadlo bez domova (Theatre With No Home), he has been working for over 20 years with actors who have experienced homelessness, physical disabilities, psychiatric diagnoses, or life after incarceration. His work bridges theatre, social inclusion, and activism, providing a platform for underrepresented voices. He is also the founder and organizer of the ERROR International Festival of Homeless Theatres, the only festival of its kind in Central Europe, now in its 19th year. In addition to his practical work, he has been facilitating The Hero’s Journey drama-therapeutic process for over 12 years, following the methodology of Paul Rebillot. This process is also the focus of his PhD research at the Slovak Academy of Sciences, where he explores the intersection of theatre, therapy, and personal transformation. Within the INTRACOMP project, he brings his expertise in inclusive theatre, drama therapy, and participatory artistic methodologies, contributing to the development of creative tools that foster intercultural dialogue, social integration, and personal empowerment.
