Tiina Lämsä, PhD in Education, is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Finnish Institute for Educational Research (FIER), specializing in Cultural Literacy and Social Inclusion. She is currently on research leave from her position as a University Teacher at JYU Open University. An experienced leader with a diverse background in academia and the private sector, Tiina has served as Pedagogical Director for private ECEC services, overseeing 2,500 early education professionals. She has also worked as an entrepreneur and CEO of her own early education company. Her expertise includes developing research-based pedagogy, educational organization cultures, and practical research-based tools. She holds an adjunct professorship at the University of Canberra. She was a visiting fellow in the Australian National University (2017).Her teaching portfolio includes research methods, educational leadership, entrepreneurship, and service design. Her research interests include childhood studies, multidisciplinary family studies, early childhood education and care (ECEC), adult pedagogy, cultural studies, digital learning environments, and the methodological development of visual and arts-based research. Passionate about bridging research and practice, she is committed to developing sustainable, research-driven solutions through innovative and interdisciplinary approaches.
